About
Sunday Supper Club.
Hi, I’m Toni. A toddler Mom from the East Coast trying to make an enjoyable and beautiful life here in San Diego for myself and those around me.
It all started when I found myself fresh out of a 7 year relationship, struggling to raise my daughter while finding meaningful connections and friends at 39 years old. I decided to close my handmade jewelry company, move to the suburbs and work from home. That’s when it hit. The loneliness and lack of connection. I was cooking basic food for a toddler, not in the dating scene and feeling completely disconnected from myself and missing deep connections, conversations with adults and my creative outlet.
I love hosting, decorating and more than anything - love a good theme! When I first had this idea, I told a handful of people and the response from someone was “Why is everything you do so extra”? Needless to say, I don’t speak to them anymore but did realize that yes - I’m a bit extra and I’m going to own it.
I was a chef for 11 years and have a background in events and design so this felt like an obvious endeavor for me!
This is the beginning of my healing journey from heartbreak, postpartum depression and a major career burnout that landed me in the ER. I’m tired of doom scrolling social media, swiping on dating apps and paying for overpriced sub-par dinners downtown. It’s time for something different.
If you’re in a particularly hard or transitional stage of life and craving the same things (or just want to try a new experience) - i’d love to meet you and have you at my table!
